Patricia Bonilla, the visionary CEO of Lunacon Construction Group, defies gender norms in the construction industry. Armed with a civil engineering degree and a master’s degree in construction management, she ascended from project engineer to Head of the Construction Management department for the City of Fort Lauderdale. In 2007, amid the national financial crisis, Patricia founded Lunacon, successfully completing 250+ projects to date. Her success is a result of hard work, client dedication, and a strong spiritual foundation.
A proud mother of five, Patricia fosters a loving home reflective of her ability to build lasting professional relationships. Beyond her role in construction, she is the author of Amazon best seller book ¡Sé lo que anhelas ser! and the insightful host of “Thriving in Construction, The Podcast.”
Accolades include the 2015 Government Contractor of the Year, 2016 South Florida Good to Great Award, 2017 ABC’s Excellence in Construction Award, 2019 ABC Diversity and Inclusion Award, and the 2019 Water Treatment Plant Safety Award. In 2022, she received the Award of Excellence in the Category of Engineering, among others.
